SIP Trunking

Elastic SIP trunks with auto-scaling, multi-region failover, and least-cost routing.

SIP Trunking

TryVox SIP trunks connect your PBX, SBC, or voice infrastructure to the PSTN. Our elastic trunking platform provides enterprise-grade voice connectivity with automatic scaling, multi-region failover, and intelligent least-cost routing.

Overview

SIP trunks enable you to send and receive phone calls through TryVox's global voice network. No capacity planning needed — trunks auto-scale to handle your traffic.

Authentication Modes

TryVox supports two authentication methods for SIP trunks:

  • IP ACL — Whitelist your PBX/SBC IP addresses. Traffic from approved IPs is automatically authenticated.
  • Credential-based — Use SIP digest authentication with username and password.

You can choose the authentication mode that best fits your infrastructure and security requirements.

Key Features

  • Auto-scaling — No capacity limits. Trunks automatically scale to handle traffic spikes.
  • Multi-region failover — Redundant SIP endpoints across multiple regions for high availability.
  • Least-cost routing — Intelligent routing to minimize costs while maintaining quality.
  • Real-time analytics — Monitor call quality, usage, and performance metrics.

Getting Started

  1. Create a trunk for your account
  2. Configure authentication using credentials or IP ACL
  3. Point your PBX/SBC to the provided SIP domain
  4. Start making and receiving calls

SIP Domain Format

Once you create a trunk, you'll receive a SIP domain in the format:

trunk-{trunk_id}.sip.tryvox.io

Configure this as your SIP server/outbound proxy in your PBX or SBC.
